A youth who was injured during clashes in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district last week on Tuesday succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura on Sunday morning. Amir Hamid Lone (22) son of Abdul Hamid Lone, a resident of Chuturgul Kangan was critically injured in Kangan clashes which erupted soon after the news about the passing away of another youth Gowhar Ahmad Rather at SKIMS spread in the area. Gowhar battled for life for one week at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of SKIMS Soura.
Lone received serious head injuries in forces action during clashes in Kangan. Meanwhile, the internet services in the area have been snapped.
